Hey all, I am using Mega2560/RAMPS 1.3 on my Prusa I3 and I wanted to switch over from a endstop switch to this so I can use auto leveling. The sensor has three wires: Blue, Black, Brown.
I spliced the wires to the connector that I used for the switch: Brown/Red, Black/Black, Blue/Green and connected them back to the RAMPS the same way the physical switch was connected. When I test the sensor by putting it near a my board, the light turns on, barely, then turns off when I move it away.
However, I am not registering any endstop hits in Marlin when I trip the sensor.
I have two questions:
Am I not putting enough power into the sensor? Any way to increase output from the RAMPS board? I am just using a USB cable to power the Arduino Mega 2560/RAMPS 1.3.
Is my wiring wrong?
Thanks!
