RAMPS 1.4 AUX Ports (1 reply)

Hi there,

as a school project a friend and I want to build a Prusa i3. We also want to redesign the RAMPS 1.4 board and add additional functionality to it and leave stuff out we don't need.

Currently we are trying to find out what the AUX-1 and AUX-2 port is used for. Sadly we couldn't find anything about it in the internet that proofs to us that we don't need this two ports.
Now here is our question: What is the use of those two ports?
