RepRapDiscount display capacitive touch (no replies)

Hello,
I have RepRapDiscount Smart Controller display and I want to make it touch controlled. I have capacitive touch sensor board: [www.adafruit.com]
The problem is, display board have encoder wheel, not buttons to navigate menu. If I could change the Marlin to use the inputs like up-down buttons it would be great. Are there any options for that?
