Hi All,
I am using RAMPS 1.4 and have been printing sometime (few months). I could not recall what was changes on my setting which now getting an issue: in the middle of printing and sometime just after few layers my printer axes including the extruder gear just make small back-and-forth movement and then stop after few seconds.
Initially I thought issue with stepper driver getting too hot so blow the RAMPS with big fan. Its then running OK. Just now I replace my stepper drivers because of the heatsink just got loose, so its good time to replace with better ones. They are cooler so try printing without the big fan and got the same issue. Then I figured my Arduino, back side of it at the edge near the USB connector, getting very hot when the issue happen. It is strange to me that the Arduino which is getting hot, not the RAMPS.
Anyone knows what is happening? Is it an issue with the Arduino?
Note that I am using heat bed (D8) and also Cooling Fan (D9).
