First time RAMPS user (3 replies)

I started using a RAMPS 1.4 with Arduino2560 instead of my previous Gen 6 card.
Arduino.cc is installed.
Marlin firmware uploaded
Jumpers are put on RAMPS 1.4
stepper drivers are put on RAMPS 1.4

I could manage to get connected to Arduino through pronterface.

and thats as far as I could get. Thermistor shows 0 C and I cant control anything no stepper motors, I cant heat the block, basically I cant control anything.

Is there anyone who can comment on this?

I couldnt find a manual for RAMPS 1.4+Arduino 2560. please let me know if you can suggest one.
