I am must finishing my build on my Ordbot Hadron with the following:
When I go to print, the Z motors (I think) make a grinding sound, and then everything stops.
There is no binding in the system and I can move all motors in all directions manually. I have also adjusted the steppir drivers as outlined. All movements have been calibrated
I thought it was a homing issue and that I send it home to start, but when it starts it things it is out of limits... I'm not sure on that, as it is a stretch.
It 'seems' like it is a steppir driver issue, but I can only get it to fail on starting to print.
I'm stuck at where to look next. My gut tells me it is a configuration issue, but even with Ramps in debug mode, I really don't get a message that is useful.
I'm open to ideas.
Mike
- Ramps 1.4
- All motions are correct for X,Y and Z
- All endstops work correctly
- Min and Max are defined for x,y, and z
- a Home command works and nicely parks everything
