Running Arbitrary Gcode (2 replies)

Hi all,

I want to borrow my ramps board for a home made coil winder that'll use an x/y axis and just some hand written gcode. Does any one know how to execute arbitrary gcode?

Pronterface tends to have a bunch of safety features that wouldn't really apply -- like not allowing you to start a program if the temperature sensor on the extruder can't be found. Can those features be overridden or worked around?
