Azteeg X3 Fans & LEDs (no replies)

I recently purchased an Azteeg X3 to replace a Printrboard. When I was using the Printrboard the LEDs and extruder cooling fan would come on when I plugged in the printer. I would like to have that same feature on the Azteeg X3. I have spent a lot of time researching this and I've seen other posts where people have said just connect them to the power supply. I’ve seen other post that say a mosfet or relay is needed.

1. The Printrboard had the extruder cooling fan and the LEDs connected to the board and not the power supply.

2. The Azteeg X3 has four sets of pins for fans & LEDs so why not use them?

3. I have a 12v 30A power supply that has three 10A rails connected in parallel. Is it really ok to feed 30A to a couple small fans and few LEDs?

My end goal is to have the extrude cooling fan, the x stepper cooling fan, the two E3D heat sink fans, and the motherboard cooling fan to come on when I plug in the printer and to be able to turn on and off a PLA cooling fan through gcode.

I’m using the Marlin firmware.

Any info to help make this clearer than mud would be great.
