Newbie Arduino/RAMPS Questions (5 replies)

Hi all, this is my first post here and I'm in the process of building my first printer - a Rostock Delta. I'm not too great with electronics. I'm learning slowly, and I have a couple of helping hands to assist me with wiring and the like but no one I know has specific experience with the Arduino/RAMPS combo. So, I've been wondering how the power situation works with these two boards. Does the RAMPS carry power down to the Arduino, or do you need to supply power to both the Arduino and RAMPS separately? Also, if anyone has a wiring diagram for the Rostock Delta, or has built one and can share their experience, that would be really helpful. I've noticed that wiring it up is a little different to its Cartesian counterparts and I'd like to minimise the chances of blowing things up. I've almost finished the construction of the frame/carriage and all that, so I'll soon be getting to the electronics. Thanks!
