Hello,
My AT Mega 2560 + RAMPS1.4 + MJ204B v1 LCD with marlin doesnt show me temperatures anymore OR it does show false temperature.
I wanted to add a new feature to my P3STEEL: auto bed leveling. With everything in place the tower pro servo started to vibrate and make noise like it wanted to move and the temperature readings on the LCD went beserk(spiking between 26c room temp and 46c) I didnt pay much attention to it at the beginning as I was busy mounting everything in place. While I was adjusting the cables near the extruder I noticed there were some interference between the servo and the nema 17 motor if I approached the wires of the servo to the motor, the temp readings spiked to 46c and servo vibrated. Then I plugged the power supply and the vibrations were less than before but temperature readings were back to normal and started calibrating the auto bed leveling. I forgot to plug a pin to the Z endstop, homed axis by mistake and it pushed the hotend into the heatbed and forced the nuts from the x-end idlers out then I got the mintemp triggerd error. The problem is I dont get temp readings at all since then.
I removed the servo enabeling jumper and the servo from the board.
As some ppl on irc suggested I did the following things: I checked the thermistors impedance <- working, tried a spare thermistor with new wires <- didnt work, checked voltage on ramps thermistor and got 4.7 while plugged on USB, cleared EEPROM, flashed marlin firmware from CREATEC3D wich I was printing with before the problems and still didnt get any temp readings Then I got distracted and I accidentally touched the LCD aux connector on the ramps with one of the probes and the LCD stopped working while connected to the power supply only, it works fine on USB with or without power supply.
Steppers are working, I moved them with the LCD panel and I can connect to the AT Mega without any problem.
What could be the problem with the thermistors? Did I toast a part of one of the boards? Please help !!!
