Breaking out status LEDs and reset pin (1 reply)

I just got my first printer (a Rostock mini) up and running with a RAMPS 1.4 board. It's a lot of fun. :)

I've started building an enclosure to house the electronics, both the Arduino and RAMPS and a Raspberry Pi running Octoprint. As part of that, I'd like to mount panel LEDs for power, status for at least D10, and a panel reset button too.

Glancing at the RAMPS schematic, it looks like the reset button on the board is wired directly to the Arduino's reset pin and nothing else, correct? If so, I can easily break that out separately.

For power, I was planning on desoldering LED1 and hooking a panel mount LED to pin 13 on the Arduino.

I'm less certain about the best way to handle D10. Is it reasonable to wire a single LED (with current limiting resistor) to the Arduino pin in parallel with the RAMPS input, or does that risk drawing too much current? Is it safe to desolder LED4 and replace it with a regular 5mm LED? I'm not sure how to read that part of the schematic and it looks to me like that would leave R25 sinking a lot of power. Are there any other options outside of firmware hacking that I hadn't thought about yet?
