No display on LCD screen (no replies)

Hi All.
I have just powered up my ramps board USB to computer and could cycle throw set up on LCD screen, but when I uploaded sprinter firmware to board all I get on the LCD screen is a blue back ground and a lot of little squares and can no longer enter into the setup . Any advise?
