I'm running Devuan Linux.

In middle of printing, the USB connection got lost suddenly. Bulbul Junior stalled.
Pronterface was complaining serial port errors.

The USB adapter was gone:

I removed the RAPMS 1.4 shield from the board and plugged in USB cable. It wouldn't response.
Hmm... I plugged in Arduino Uno with the same USB cable. Uno was working fine.

The clone Arduino Mega came with a RAMPS 1.4 kit I bought one and half years ago.
This board had been running for printing 5 kg of PLA. I wouldn't expect it lasts few years anyway.

If I replace the USB driver chip on it, would it be usable again?
I might give a try for learning experience.
